Join the Foundation of L.I.F.E. Team in helping to to raise resources necessary to develop educational alternatives in our state and assist in revitalizing the Toole Avenue Arts District in Downtown Tucson. We are currently seeking local Coordinators in the following areas of the state: Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Yuma, Prescott, and Northeast Arizona (Navajo/Hopi).
Coordinators will be responsible for local committees who will find and recruit volunteers, artists, and performers for the First Annual Dionysia in the Desert Street Festival Resource Raiser tentatively scheduled for April 14, 2012. What is L.I.F.E.?
L.I.F.E. is an acronym for Limitless Ideas and Free Environments.
The Irish Poet, Novelist, Dramatist and Critic, Oscar Wilde (1854-1900 B.C.) once said:
“an idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all”
and the Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta (563-483 B.C.), the founder of Buddhism, noted that
“an idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.”
Many people have ideas that they often feel are unworthy of action because they involve risk or don’t reflect
We believe that all knowledge starts with ideas and life springing from that inquiry often just takes the support of one or two people; especially if those people can do something about it. We also believe that no inquiry or the voice of those inquiring should be limited. The Foundation of L.I.F.E. is dedicated to making that happen.
